Selah Soul Care Conferences
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23
Soul Care is about the heart—the “command and control center” of our lives. A well-kept heart will positively affect our relationships, work, ministry, leadership, and health. A local church that encourages soul care will inevitably have a transformational impact on the community by pursuing biblical unity, purity, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

Chris & Dawn Phillips
Chris and Dawn were married in 1989; they have been blessed with four children and seven grands. Their journey in full-time Christian ministry has taken them from Georgia to South Carolina, Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Through the ministry opportunities God has given them over the past thirty-five years, their passion has been to see souls saved, solid churches established, encourage church leaders, see marriages restored, parent-teen relationships healed, child-rearing methods improved, and generations impacted by solid, biblical counseling of the fundamental truths of God’s Word.. Their passion for Biblical counseling led them to pursue certification through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and Chris is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Biblical Counseling.

Colby Whitaker
Colby was raised in a Christian home in West End, North Carolina, where he came to know and love the Lord at an early age. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry with a minor in Business Management from Pensacola Christian College and is currently pursuing certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He has a strong passion for both biblical counseling and Christ-honoring administration. He is especially burdened to walk alongside those in ministry, offering practical, Christ-centered guidance rooted in Scripture.
